I maaay have overdone it a bit

Do you ever have one of those days where you’re enjoying a book so much that you just drop everything for the rest of the day to finish it?

That was me earlier this week when reading Addition by Toni Jordon; a novel about a woman with OCD, which some of you may know is a topic close to my heart. (I also reviewed it over on my YouTube channel if you’re interested.)

Anyway, while the long day’s reading may have been good for my mood because I think I’m finally out of the massive reading reading slump I’ve been in, it probably  wasn’t so good for me on a cerebral palsy level.

Mystery Bruises

I fall over. I fall over a lot. My cerebral palsy has an impact of my balance, you see.

Most of the time, I don’t really bother paying attention to every trip and stumble. They just kind of happen and I just get up and go back to doing whatever I was doing before gravity decided it wanted to have a little fun with me.

I only tend to remember the ones that hurt. Or the ones that scare me.

Hello and welcome to Fun Fact Friday where I share facts about myself that aren’t linked to my cerebral palsy.

Even though I read extracts of a few at school the only Shakespeare plays I’ve read all the way through are Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet.

Making new habits

Lately I’ve been trying to develop some new, positive, habits.

Some of you know that I’ve been struggling with feeling more tired and achy over the last 18 months. I’m a night owl too. Just lately I’ve been trying to get into some new habits that might help me feel better:
