Hi, I’m Nic. I’m 26 years-old and have cerebral palsy. This impairs the movement in my legs and my left arm, which is why I never leave home without either my trusty walking frame, Ivy, or my wheelchair, Agatha. I’m not as fond of Agatha if I’m being honest, but sometimes needs must and all that.

I can walk (in a fashion), talk (a lot), and get myself washed and dressed (after hitting the snooze button at least three times). The one thing I absolutely cannot do is tie my own shoelaces. Believe me, I’ve tried several times to the point of tears, but at the age of 26 I’ve decided to give up on that dream and focus on the things I actually care about, like writing a novel. Or talking to my cat. Or writing this blog. Or making YouTube videos. I think you get the idea…
