A trip to the bowling alley

Ready to roll: bowling with a ramp
Ready to roll: bowling with a ramp

Last weekend some of my family and I went bowling as a way of spending Mother’s Day together.

It’s something that I always enjoyed doing as a child and then started enjoying less as a teenager, because I became  more are more self-conscious about having to play by pushing the ball down a ramp. I’d originally planned a trip out with a friend today, funnily enough to pick up my new blue badge that will allow me to use disabled parking spaces, but after much deliberation and watching the snow stop and start all morning, we decided not to risk it.
