A brighter Tuesday

I know that I don’t usually update my blog on a Tuesday, but I feel like I should after yesterday’s post.

It’s no secret that I wasn’t having a good day mood wise, and today has been so much better and I feel like a brand new person.

Days like the one I had yesterday can be tough, and it’s easy to feel like they low moods will never end, but they do. Not always quickly, but things do get better, and it’s important to remember that.

I woke up this morning to the sun bursting¬† through my windows and feeling ready to try and write and get various things done that are on my to-do list. So far, the day has been productive, and I don’t feel like I’m finished yet.

A friend of mine surprised me with a gift today. It was a DVD copy of The Perks of Being A Wallflower on DVD because I’d spent about a week raving on and on about the book after reading it last month, and it was a really lovely thought, and one that reminded me that people care and think about you always, even when you don’t know it. They care on good days and on the days that aren’t quite so nice.

We’re all human, we all have days where we don’t feel like ourselves but there are always people ready to help us get back up again.

  1. I’m so glad you’re having a better day! When those down days appear, the biggest fear I always get is “I’ll have to fight through this for a few months now” When in reality they can at times go away as quickly as they came. That’s not the case for my OCD, but hopefully I’ll be able to overcome it again soon. It’s been going on way to long.
