Hello and welcome to Fun Fact Friday where I share facts about myself that aren’t linked to my cerebral palsy.
I entered a Flash fiction writing competition yesterday. It’s only the second writing comp I’ve entered. I’m not expecting to win.
Hello and welcome to Fun Fact Friday where I share facts about myself that aren’t linked to my cerebral palsy.
I entered a Flash fiction writing competition yesterday. It’s only the second writing comp I’ve entered. I’m not expecting to win.
My vlog about my day at the CPFWC yesterday:

Disclosure: I was invited by the FA to come and watch one of the England matches of the Cerebral Palsy Football World Championships 2015, and write a blog post and vlog about the day. I was NOT paid a fee to do this, although I did not have to pay to watch the game.
I watched the England V Japan game, which was also the first one played of the tournament.
In all honesty, I don’t need a whole blog post to sum up the day my dad and I have just had. I could explain it in one word, and that word would be wow. I don’t think that would make for very exciting reading though so I’ll elaborate. Please note that I will also mention the final score, so if you’re trying to avoid finding out what it is just yet, you may want to stop reading now and come back later….

I like to think I’m quite good at multitasking. I mean, I can talking on the phone, send an e-mail, and drink a cup of tea I the same time.
What can I say, I’ve got me some mad skills…
All silliness aside though, I can do lots of things at once. I’m currently working on multiple writing projects, and I’ve even been known to play more than one video at once, (one on a handheld device and one on a console plugged into the TV). Yes, I can do lots of things at the same time, as long as I’m sitting down to do them.
It’s almost 2AM and, like the Faithless song says, I can’t get no sleep. It has nothing to do with insomnia in my case though, but has just about everything to do with an achy back and neck that has been bothering for most of the day.
It’s not all bad though. At least the headache that came along with it on and off since I woke up seems to have gone away and I’ve been able to sort out a couple of blog posts and edit a video before I crawled into bed. I know, I know, being on the laptop writing this is hardly going to help matters, but it’s helping me feel less frustrated about the fact I can’t seem to nod off.
