  1. I can really relate to this as I have mild cp and these past couple of weeks I have been noticing it much more than ever. I have had really painful and tight muscles and I’ve felt really tired. My tiredness has got worse over the years as I have always been ‘on the go’ when I was younger, but now I struggle to get through the day without taking a nap. This worries me as well as I am only turning 17 in a couple of days, so I really don’t know what the future holds for me, regarding my cp. (I am also struggling with anxiety). So as you can see, you’re not alone. Stay positive xx

  2. I’m 24 and have cp. I use a wheelchair and a rollater frame. I feel the same. I use strong painkillers and baclofen and another muscle relaxant . I have been advised by my consultant to take rests daily . Things are harder and I fell last night. HoĊµever staying active is key. Maybe ask for a referral to your local pain clinic they have helped me. Take one week at a time and distract your self with activities you like doing. There hasn’t been much research done for adults with cp. I run a support group online called living positively with cerebral palsy. Google it . Some of the posts from different users may help you.
Chin up and hope you feel better soon. Rachael
