I can completely relate to this! I was just talking to my dad about this today in fact. There’s so many other things we have to take into consideration when we travel. I’m definitely the planner out of all of my friends but as I’m sure you would agree, when you have mobility issues, you don’t have much of a choice not to plan. You have to know if there’s stairs or if you’re going to have to walk a lot, what the weather is going to be like (ice, snow, etc). Thanks for sharing your take on this! Really enjoyed the video.
That’s true. If I’m going anywhere by public transport I always try and get the train or bus before the one I actually need to get in case there’s no room for my wheelchair or walking frame or my prebooked assessment doesn’t work out.
