Always there

Today is my boyfriend Rob’s birthday. We’ve been together for six years now and he’s always there to help me when I need him.

Some of you may have seen on the blog’s Facebook page last weekend that he woke up early and came all the way from his house to mine so that he could help me meet my friends in town for lunch.

People often asks home my Cerebral Palsy impacts on our relationship, and the long and short of it is that it doesn’t.

And if that wasn’t enough; he makes the best cups of tea in the world.

  1. This makes me really really happy. You love and respect each other, he supports and helps you and doesn’t see it as a problem (because it isn’t) and he always thinks of you and makes sure you’re happy (as any man should). I can only hope that, if I ever meet someone, he will be half as considerate, kind, and supportive, and that my disability won’t be an issue at all.
