Struggling in the heat

This year has been a strange one for me. Usually when it’s warm I find it a lot easier to do things than when it’s cold. I usually ache less too, which is also nice.

However, lately I’ve been noticing that things are quite different. Take the day I’m writing this post for example (yesterday for you guys). It’s boiling. I’m never one to say it’s too hot, but today I think it pretty much is. I went for a really quick walk and I really struggled with it because I was so warm. It took a lot more energy out of me that a journey of that length would usually have done, and I’ve noticed it more and more this year, even though I don’t think it’s been any hotter than last year. I was fine then. In fact, I loved the heat last year.

Do any of you struggle with the heat? How do you cope?

When I don’t do very much of it it gets me down because I worry that I’ll lose my stamina and stuff. Basically, I like to push myself when I can.
