On these days, I feel physically like rubbish because most things ache of hurt, but they also have quite an impact on how I feel emotionally too.

Why I’ve never been for a massage

I seem to hear myself saying ‘I really need to go for a massage’ more and more often these days.

The thing is; I’ve never actually been for one and I’m not sure I ever will.

I don’t doubt that they would be great for easing a lot of my aches pains and muscle stiffness, but I’m not sure I could do it. I think I’d be far too self-conscious about it. Is that silly?

Some thoughts on the new walking frame I tried

A couple of weeks ago I was give a new kind of walking frame to try. It’s different to the others that I’ve had because it’s designed to go in front of you rather than behind.

My physio has been encouraging me to try one for a while but I kept putting it off for ages because I was nervous about it. However, my current Nimbo walking frame that I use is getting old so I decided to give it a go so that we would know once and for all if it was a suitable type of frame for me to have.

This is what I found.
