My name is Nic, I'm 26 and just happen to have Cerebral Palsy that I've had since birth. It mostly impacts on my legs and my left arm and so I use a walking frame. When I'm not blogging I can usually be found making YouTube videos, reading or trying to write a novel.
Shopping and cerebral palsy
In case you haven’t noticed yet, I love to go shopping. Well, unless I’m going shopping for shoes that is. I’ve mentioned these things quite a lot in the past, but I’m not sure I’ve ever really talked about the difficulties I face when going to the till to pay for my things.
Walking makes me feel good
I can’t recall if I’ve said this before or not but I love walking and knowing that I’ve done as much walking as I can. By this I mean walking around town or to people’s houses rather than going on a 10 mile hike, but I like to think it still counts, you know?
When I don’t do very much of it it gets me down because I worry that I’ll lose my stamina and stuff. Basically, I like to push myself when I can.
