Oh my goodness me where have the last couple of weeks gone? I think I blinked and missed them or something. I’ve been so busy in the best kind of way, working, writing and having some kind of social life.
There’s been a couple of hospital appointments too. While they’re less exciting, it does mean that lots of helpful things are happening to me in my CP life, which is good, more on those in a separate post, I think.
I feel like I’ve hardly stopped moving for the last couple of weeks, and that makes me feel so much better as a person that it’s almost untrue. I am at my happiest when I’m busy, I think you all know that by now, but I definitely feel in need of a breather today to get my head around my to-do list, and writing projects, to catch up on writing some blog posts and hopefully make a couple of videos. I slept for 12 hours yesterday and it was bliss.
Some of you may have seen on Facebook or Twitter that I’ve had quite a few bad CP days lately and I feel a lot better now. Yesterday was one of those days where I felt cold and tired and achy, but today is much better. Today I’ve woken up with quite a pleasant feeling in my legs like my muscles need a good stretch. I’ve been sitting cross-legged lately and I think that might be why. It gives me a good adductor stretch as they’re usually very tight.
They’re not sore or anything, and that’s why it’s nice, because it will actually motivate me to stretch. That’s good. I’m hoping it might help me stick to it. I just have to make sure I do overdo it, which is easier than it sounds, especially when I feel the benefit of doing it.
