Good question, and the answer to that is so. Much. Stuff. I’m not even sure where to start. November is slipping through my fingers and before I know it it’ll be Christmas and the New Year. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one struggling to get my head round the fact that 2014 is almost over.
I’ve had a couple of appointments over these last two weeks that have gone rather well. I managed to see my physio and my consultant last week who think they know what’s been causing my hip pain. They want me to try a high dose of ibuprofen for a couple of weeks. If that doesn’t work then they want me to get a referral to the pain clinic. I’m hoping it won’t come to that but it’s a start.
I’ve just got back from being recast for a new splint too.
I’ve almost reached my goal of writing 50000 words of a novel for national novel writing month now too!
I can’t believe where this year has gone!!!!
Hope they get your hip pain sorted, sounds like you have a pretty good team around you.
It’s a nightmare being re-cast for splints isn’t it?! Luckily my orthotist seems to have cracked it with my AFOs – it’s my gaiter I’m having problems with at the mo!! I had an orthotics app last week and have had to get my gaiter sent away to have different padding and strapping put on it

So glad you seem to be getting somewhere with regards to your pain and I bet you must be so excited about the novel. I’d love to read it! x
