Allow me to introduce…

Hi everyone, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! I’ve chosen a name for my new wheelchair.

So, I would now like to introduce you all to…Agatha.

My new wheelchair Agatha

Don’t ask me why I’ve picked this name because I’m not entirely sure, but for some reason it just seemed to fit.

I’ve been out in the new chair a few times this weekend and I’m really happy with it. It’s comfy to sit in and easy enough for me to push myself. It’s going to take a while to get used to the fact that it’s slightly bigger than my old one though!

I’ve also found that when I sit in this one, I see the world from a slightly different angle than I did previously, and that feels a bit strange at the moment, but I’m sure I’ll get used to that in time.

  1. Agatha seems like a most appropriate name! It’s a name that always makes me think of someone that is very stable and reliable, and your wheelchair looks exactly like that 🙂 Are you using a cushion on it?

  2. Love the name (I also love Agatha Christie!) … I hope Agatha and you have many and adventure! LOL

    1. I hope so too lol. Glad you like the name. I haven’t actually read anything by Agatha Christie yet but her books are on my list of things to read.

  3. Hey! Funny how things get their names. My first car was Charlie, then my second car was Martina (or Marty for short) and now I have Buttercup. My last car didn’t really have a name. Agatha is a great name. I’m surprised she is bigger than Martha – I thought she would be more streamlined! I’m sure you will get used to her in time. xo

    1. I like the name Buttercup, it reminds me of the Powerpuff Girls cartoon that I grew up watching! I’m sure I’ll get used to it and some point xo
