Vlog: Haircuts and mental

Okay, so I uploaded this video on my YouTube channel a little while ago and just haven’t had the time to post it here. It’s about the hair cut I’ve just had, and how it’s it’s helped cheer me up during my mental health dip. Anyway, if you haven’t seen it then here it is:

If you have no idea what I’m talking about when I say that I’m going through another mental health dip, then the video that I made prior to this one will explain:

Anyway, on a lighter note, I have some much happier updates coming over the next couple of days, so stay tuned for  those. It’s not all bad around here

  1. There’s nothing stupid or pathetic about feeling the way you do. It’s very difficult to admit these feelings. I can completely understand this. Good for you for taking the steps to speak to a doctor about this. Don’t downplay yourself Nicola, I get what you’re saying about pyjamas vs clothes. It somehow makes things much easier to live with. That’s partly why I like yoga pants so much because they’re so comfy and they’re also ‘normal’ so people let you get away with it. I admire you for saying all these things out loud. There’s really no harm in therapy, I’ve gone through three therapists, mainly because of my mother issues, but I think every person in the world should do this. Life isn’t all peachy keen all the time. It’s easy to be upset with yourself, but that’s the hardest thing to not do. It’s hard to point the finger at yourself and it’s hard to say to yourself yes, I have to get myself together. I’ve been there too. I’m proud of you for identifying your issue. That is a BIG STEP! You’re amazing for having made this video. Trust me, there are people out there, myself included who get it.
