This week I’m really excited to share my fun fact with you all because I took what felt like a pretty big leap and did something I’ve never done before.

I’ve talked about the fact that I love to write quite a few times on this blog and I can’t help but think it would be nice, very nice in fact, if 2015 was the year I finally got something published. That said, I’ve never sent any of my work off anywhere before, until this week that is…

I decided that it was time to take the plunge and submit something to a short story competition. I don’t expect anything to come of this, but I feel loads better knowing that I’ve made a step towards my life-goal of becoming a full-time author.
